Frisco Chert is associated with the Frisco Limestone Formation of south central Oklahoma.  Frisco Chert occurs as small lenses and nodules south of Ada in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.  Outcroppings occur in Pontotoc and Coal counties Oklahoma.  Has also been reported in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.
